1. All students and outsiders entering the library shall keep their bags and other personal belonging in the rack present at the entrance. Only files, notebooks etc. will be allowed inside.
2. All library users are to write down their names in the register kept at the entrance.
3. Mobile Phones are to be kept in silent mode
4. All users are advice not to leave their valuable (mobiles, wallets etc.) in the rack. The Library is not responsible for any loss of personal belonging.
5. Library card is compulsory for issuing/borrowing of books from the Library. No books will be issued without Library Cards.
6. Books removed from the shelves, if not required further, should be kept on the table nearest to them. Please do not try to shelve them yourself. Remember that a book misplaced is a book lost.
7. Newspaper/Magazines after reading should be kept back in the designated place.
8. Users should not deface, mark, cut or damage Library books and resources in anyway. If anyone is found doing so, will be charged the full replacement cost of the resources.
9. Books may be borrowed for a duration of 7days and can be renewed for 7days more, which makes a total of 14 days. After which the must be returned to the Library. Failing to return books/resources after the due date will result in a fine of Rs. 2/- per day. Failing to return after a week will result in the increase amount of Rs. 5/- per day and so on.
10. Students are advised not to issue books to others in their name. Remember your Library card, your responsibility.
11. Reference Sources like Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, Journals (loose and bound), Project reports, Handbook etc. will not be issued out.
12. If a user has damage or lost a book or resources, they must replace the lost book/resources by purchasing themselves with same with updated edition. Incase of non-availability of materials, then the actual cost of the book/resources will be fined plus an extra fine of 200 rupees.
13. Beverages and eatables are not allowed inside the Library. Cleanliness is to be maintained inside the Library.
14. Non-members are allowed to use the Library with prior permission from the Governing Authority in black and white.
15. The Library reserves the rights to call back any issued book or item at any time.
