Training Programme on Time Management

A training programme on Time Management was organized by the Counselling and Students Guidance Cell on 26th March in the College Hall at 11am. The aim of the programme was to help students understand the importance of managing their time effectively for both academic success and personal growth.

The session began with a warm welcome addressed by Sir D Syiemiong followed by a speech from the Principal highlighting the purpose of the programme. The session was graced by Dr. E. Langshiang, who served as the resource person for the event. Dr. Langshiang shared valuable insights on the importance of setting priorities and developing disciplined daily routines. The talk was both informative and relatable, especially for students navigating academic pressure and personal commitments and the main segment of the event featured a Question Hour activity, where students had the opportunity to ask questions and clear their doubts related to time management. The interactive format encouraged open discussion, allowing students to share their challenges and learn practical tips on organizing their schedules, setting priorities, and overcoming procrastination.

The students responded enthusiastically, actively participating in the discussion and engaging with the speaker Dr E Langshiang.

In conclusion, the training programme was a success. It provided valuable insights and practical strategies that students can apply in their daily lives. The Counselling Committee plans to organize more student-centered events aimed at promoting personal development and academic well-being.
