The Department of English was established in the year 2008.The department started with BA pass course and later upgraded to Honours courses in 2015 with the introduction of semester system.

Apart from offering honours courses,the English Department at Khrawsing Christian College also offers programmes such as Elective English,Compulsory English and Alternative English.

   The curricula are taught through discussions, assignments, texts, reviews, powerpoint presentations etc.The department aims to engage young minds in creative and analytical thinking through literary studies that can help students in building a holistic and healthier human community.

          The Department works to inculcate a spirit of collaboration and collegiality between faculty members and students thus looking to achieve wholesome progress at all levels.
