The Department of Khasi at khrawsing Christian College started in the year 2008,the year that the College was established.At the initial stage,MIL was introduced as a Compulsory subject and Elective Khasi as one of the Elective subject.

      The Department has been running general classes both morning and day shift.With the introduction of the Semester System in 2015,the Department was automatically upgraded to B.A honours in Khasi. At present the department has three full time teachers and one guest lecturer.
