The Department of History at Khrawsing Christian College was established in 2008. Initially Started as a B.A general course under North Eastern Hill University, the department provides students with foundation knowledge in history. With the shift to the semester system in 2015, the department is upgraded to an honours course. This transition allowed the students to delve deeper into historical studies.

          With the implementation of New Educational Policy in 2023, the department continues to offer history as an honours course, offering students a more rigorous and comprehensive curriculum.

       The history department started with a single teacher. Currently, it is staffed by three committed teachers who are dedicated to enriched students understanding of history and fostering a critical appreciation of the past.

            Through the progressive growth and the dedication of the faculties, the history department at Khrawsing Christian College has established itself as a vital part of the college preparing students with a solid foundation in historical knowledge.
